So tattooing, skateboarding and alot of great people lost an amazing person. Jamer was a huge influence and awsome friend not only to me but im sure i can speak for many. James Lindsay, Jamer, Jame Dogg was always on full stoke and never had anything but words of wisdom and the best stories ever. I have never seen someone smoke a cigarette, drink a full coffee and eat a muffin in the same time it takes the average smoker to finish one smoke, and i ask Jamer why are you in such a hurry he replys " im running behind and when im done these tattoos i have more to draw " for those of you who are reading this and know the life of a tattooer this is always the case but Jamer was always finding extra minutes to work hard and still have fun and tell a story that would make the whole room laugh, a story that was so funny you only wish you were there to experience it. I met the Jame Dogg befor i was tattooing when he was doing a guest spot in Kelowna BC at Ritual Tattoo i had herd good things so i went to meet him we clicked right away talked about skateboarding and smoked while he waited for his next client as i started to move into my tattooing career he was always one person who never sugar coated anything and would always tell me to push harder and work more on my drawings and paint more. I remember the night when i was living in victoria and was walking home from a show and it was like 2am i saw the lights on in the shop so i crossed the street to see what was going on only to find Jamer alone in the shop painting, i knocked on the door and asked him what he was doing he looked up and said '' painting what you should be doing right now " after a quick little chat i left him to his painting and walked home and the whole way home i was thinking i should be painting so 230am and there i was at home starting a painting and ever since when i have nothing to do and think im bored i feel the urge to paint. I spent many days hanging around the shop when i lived in victoria and was always stoked to see Jamer he is one of the most stoked people i have ever met and introduced me to so many people that have become great friends. Im not really a person who writes much and this is kind of a ramble but when i herd the news it didn't seem real and yesterday it clicked in that this is real. Today is another day and the Jame Dogg would want us to stay strong its not going to go away but we need to try and remember all the good times and memories that we all have, eveyone has a different story and i could go on and on and on but just remember to share great stories with eachother and make eachother laugh like he would when he would be so pumped to tell us all the different stories.

Rest in peace Jamer

Did 2 fun walk-ins on a couple from Austria today had alot of fun

So when people come into the shop and have really old tattoos and want us to cover them up or re-do them I try and tell them how awsome the old tattoos are and get them stoked on having them the way they are. Its something that is very interesting to me not only to think that these old tattooers who did these tattoos are dead but that there are some assholes out there covering them and saying they can make them way better. Not only is the old tattoo attitude dying but the amazing work they were doing is dying, not only dying on the skin of the person who will pass on but dying because some prick thinks its an honour to re-work these old tattoos. If one asshole reads this and thinks twice befor he tries his magic then i am stoked. Just a little rant for today keep the old stuff alive !

Dont know the year from this one but it was interesting Jamie told me that when she went into the shop to get tattooed there were two guys sitting there with their shirts off and if you wanted a tattoo then you would just pick one off of them and one of them would do the outline and the other would color it in. I think i remember her saying that they were brothers but im not sure she is a good client at the shop i will get the full story soon.

If you need a trim i would recommend going to see Dustin at The Belmont Barber Shop at 111 East Broadway. Also if your at the Belmont be sure to not just walk by Mr. Lees General store at the top of the stairs.

So a good client from out of town was on her way back from a family trip to Mexico and had 5 hours to kill with her layover in Vancouver so she jumped on the train and got a quick tattoo while waiting for her next flight. The anchor is fresh and the rats get fat is healed from a couple months ago when i was up north doing a guest spot at Mulitia Tattoo.

So a old friend from high-school came down from edmonton to get a good start to the lower part of his sleeve. I was super stoked about the project.

Riley already has the top of his arm done so i am doing the bottom 3/4.

Left lots open on this will be adding a light house and maybe a shark next session.
